Feature Description

Description: We need to enhance the user experience on our platform by making the search bar more prominent in the header. Currently, it lacks visibility, which may hinder users from easily finding content. Additionally, the homepage features an unclear and poorly chosen image that appears blurry and unprofessional. A high-quality, engaging image is essential for creating a visually appealing first impression.

Proposed Changes:

Search Bar: Move the search bar to a more visible location in the header and consider redesigning it for improved aesthetics. Homepage Image: Replace the current image with a high-resolution, relevant visual that aligns with our brand identity. These updates will enhance navigation and overall user engagement on the platform.

Goal: To easily navigate the platform and access content while enjoying a visually appealing interface.

User has accessed the homepage of the learning platform. User is looking for specific content or resources. Main Flow:

Search Functionality:

The user notices the search bar at the top of the header. The search bar is clearly visible and easily accessible. The user types in a query and quickly finds relevant content. Homepage Engagement:

The user views the homepage, which features a high-resolution, engaging image that reflects the platform's mission. The visually appealing design captures the user’s interest, encouraging them to explore further. Postconditions:

The user successfully finds the content they were looking for. The improved visuals enhance the user's overall experience, leading to increased engagement with the platform. Exceptions:

If the search bar is still not prominently displayed, users may struggle to find content. If the homepage image remains blurry or irrelevant, users may have a negative first impression, potentially leading them to leave the site.
