See #2. By default, since the Manta backend uses an asset path scoped to /$MANTA_USER/stor, you have to run it from a SmartOS system for the first time. Since in Manta mode Dragnet is basically a thin client, it would be nice if new users could just run from their Mac using a public Dragnet asset.
