It would be helpful if mlive reported information about failed requests (or, with manta-mlive#8, about outlier requests). It already lets you set LOG_LEVEL and send that somewhere else, but that's kind of a firehose. Maybe it could dump out request-id and server-name for a small number of failed (or outlier) requests in each reporting interval.
