5 years ago @mgerdts I have just built a brand new Server 2019 KVM and bhyve image this week using/adapting these steps.
Our internal sysprep steps are different, since we use Puppet to manage file contents and OperatingSystem configuration, but should give a starting point for others.
This is a fairly opinionated difference from current documentation, but is a more formal adaptation of our internal documentation. The KVM documentation is based on internal documentation we've been using since 2012R2 images.
