You cannot access the internet from your container, it seems.
Try apt-get update && apt-get install -y iputils-ping
inside your container.
If that gives errors, it's a problem with your docker network bridge.
hello there,
I am running into the same error. I did the apt-get update
within the container:
docker exec -it vrising bash

It seems that the container does not have access to the internet.
Could this be related with the vrising | usermod: user 'docker' does not exist
line at the start?
Best, Avendretter
sooo it looks like that my docker installation was a bit outdated ;)
I did a apt update && apt upgrade
on the host machine and now it is able to run.
before that I re build your container with ubunut:20.04 and it worked as well.
Maybe we could add some sort of legacy support?
ah ok, that's good information. Strange that this would be an issue. I'll have to reconsider how microservices work.
hehe no worries :) I'd would be up for support since this is what I do for work ;)
Using
docker-compose
:No further output, neither the
server/
nordata/
directory gets populated (so no conf files to edit)
