Under the law, is it legal to capture data from the application? Can a political party receive that AB application and use that knowledge (e.g., to nag them to complete their ballot when they get it)? If so, is that something we do in the client, or in the server?
I'm thinking that it belongs in the server—hence opening the issue here—because I'd like the client to be able to stay very simple. Of course, if the SBE were to adopt the server, then things get more complicated (you'd need a party server to pass requests along to the SBE's server), but that's premature optimization.
