even after pushing its empty #9

The repository is supposed to be empty. The exercises are only saved in the command window you see below your screen when doing the tutorials. I'm guessing the only reason they introduced this specific repository is so you can learn about how to push/pull your commits remotely, for educational purposes.

I would like there to be a repository that it's stored to. There might be something in the Git API which would allow you to create a dynamically generated name for your repo? Unfortunately I am not allowed access to the information to see if that is possible. Or if I am, it's publicly available but on display at the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying beware of the leopard. It's not a big issue, but dynamically generated Git repos would be nice for the course.

I've had a LOT of people attempt to push to my repos and a fair few attempt to merge but I've NEVER heard it supposing to be empty!

Try using the cmd on your laptop to push to your actual Github. I'm sure they won't be empty.
