10 years ago You are more than welcome to continue to comment on the original issue - but please do not open new, duplicate issues. This does not help anything - it just fractures the content into multiple places and creates more admin work for us, which takes us away from working on Ghost.

Sorry for insisting but no, it's not a "suggestion" and i didn't rushed in to post before even to read. That you can't read blog's title and description is an issue because those are pretty important for main identification - main purpose of theme. You've positioned your product being "just a blogging platform" so it means that it should suit minimal need for posting text content "from a box".
Casper is default theme and a part of a Ghost distribution. It should to suit minimal needs and actually be useful for those who maybe aren't familiar with theming, neither to to make people to buy themes.
As an end user i want just to register, pay for hosting and use product for it's direct purpose. I don't need anything else but properly functioning default theme. Isn't Ghost described as "blogging platform"? It's an issue if you can't read blog's title. And as soon as it's standart theme i address here. My readers would have to select blog's title and description to read them.
All what i want is just to put some text in my blog and have job done. It's product position and the reason i came for it. If i would like to play with stuff, i would go for WordPress. I'm sorry if i look somehow wrong but i've payed for ghost.io specially to don't have to make moves for uploading and setting up blog. Title, description and background image are important because they'r main identification.
If you can't get that, simply answer yourself a question: if you would to buy a phone in a broken replaceable case, how you would take it if seller would tell you just to go and to buy case to replace it?
