Updating Statix to v4 #5

This is a record of the update plans for v4 of Statix which are currently in development.

[x] Updating SCSS to match latest version of Kickoff v8
[x] Updating folder structure – see issue #2 for more details
[x] Upgrade Statix to use gulp
[ ] Check the latest Statix in the generator (should be fine, but would be worth testing since the v8 Kickoff updates)
[x] Documentation for Statix is pretty woeful atm – needs a proper webpage with better startup guide
[ ] Update Changelog
[ ] Write article for Statix v4 and Kickoff v7

Update on point 3 – grunt-assemble is currently at assemble v0.6 – see this issue for more info on when v0.7 is likely to hit.

In the meantime, have updated the dependencies so that it works with grunt-assemble rather than just the old assemble module. Updating to v0.7 should now be straightforward when it does get released.

Am updating this to reflect the work I am doing now – effectively v4 of Statix will be inline with v7 of Kickoff.

Also, updated the docs as part of the grid documentation I did. Could do more work on this, but will work on getting v4 in a decent state for release first.

Have updated the working list of updates required for v4 – Note that the generator updates shouldn’t stop the release but is something we should ensure is checked once we are happy with the changes.

Regards Documentation, I think this will also need to be revisited as we need to update it with Gulp set up details and remove anything which relates to old Grunt workflow.

Let me know if anything else comes in your mind.

@rentorm I’m literally updating the SCSS right now, so I’ll try and get that into the next branch today.

Once I’ve got this done, I’ll update the ticket and let you know. Help on the documentation once that’s updated would be good though for sure or any help updating the kickoff-generator with the statix config would also be appreciated.

@rentorm Ok so I’ve just pushed those changes to the next branch now – Kickoff v8 SCSS is now in the branch.

Last thing to do is update the documentation and check the generator. I’ll get onto these later today, but if you want to pick up anything on either of these let me know 👍
