Better way to display community settings and community switcher

the community settings for desktop and mobile are in different places, and not standard. a user went to the community switcher for settings, since it wasn't clear. what's a solution for this?

• is there a more standard community switcher we could be using?
• can the switcher include each item in the "..." menu so we eliminate the "..." menu?
• should we put a shortcut to the "..." menu for the current community in the community switcher?
• Can we eliminate the "three dots" menu on the mobile channel list screen and put that in the community switcher? try making this more consistent between desktop and mobile

We explored a few things here originally and it might be worth revisiting them.

Let's make the switcher icon more "stack-like" in response to user feedback.

I got feedback on the latest and the user wanted something even more extreme. Like they want to be able to see color underneath the main icon in the shadows.

I think we should try one more extreme version that has some hint of color squares / shadows underneath the main icon and then get feedback on all of them.

Update: Actually we're going to not go farther with this and wait to see if it comes up.
