Quiet message latency spikes after posting an image #2516

In Quiet 2.2.0-alpha.4, on a sufficiently slow Intel machine in Ubuntu, I can confirm that the following happens consistently:

  1. In a fresh community, I can confirm messages arrive quickly (1-2 seconds)
  2. When I post an image to the community, I can confirm that messages arrive less quickly (5+ or maybe 20+ seconds) -- even after the message has loaded.

Restarting seems to make it better, but it's unclear if that's true.
