Food that can be used to lure mobs away. It would only work on some types of mobs. You would throw the item on the ground and nearby monsters would focus it and eat it in a matter of seconds, leaving you enough time to escape.
I think this is a neat idea.
Food that works a bit differently from milk. It would only remove the negative effects from the player, not the positive effects.
Again neat. Not sure if AoA already has something like this though, but if not it could be considered.
A food that you can use multiple times before it disappears (like cake, but inside your inventory). The craft would be quite expensive.
AoA already has this in the form of Candy Blade.
The same way vanilla animals are attracted by seeds, carrots or wheat, AoA passive mobs could be attracted by one of the new foods.
Is possible I suppose. Would work better as a supplement to an existing usage of a food rather than adding a food that only serves for this purpose/
Food that you can use on animals to make them reproduce faster. When using the food on the 2 animals, the mother would have a chance to give birth to multiple babies instead of only one. You could also accelerate a baby's growth by giving it specific food. The food could also make the animals more obedient. It could immobilize them momentarily It could also make the horses more likely to have good stats. (Seems difficult to code, idk)
Not sure how reproducing faster could work. Unless you mean cut down on the time it takes to breed, to which I say yeah I think that's a good idea.
Giving birth to multiple mobs at once also sounds like a good idea.
Not sure what you mean by obedient.
The horses thing seems too arbitrary unless you find a way to implement this across all mobs.
Farming boots that you can equip, and it allows you to run/jump on crops without destroying them.
Seems to go against the idea of the helms, but maybe it could be added as an ability?
Some of the food crops could have effects on the player or the mobs when they are fully grown:
* The player would become hungry less quickly * Passive animals and AoA NPCs would be a bit more likely to spawn in a chunk containing AoA crops * Some crops could give negative effects to monsters (Glowing, slowness, weakness) * Some crops could prevent mobs from spawning in an area. It would have the same effect as putting torches on the ground to prevent mobs from spawning, except you're using crops (idk if it's possible to code without the crops emitting light)
Isn't the first one of these giving the player saturation?
Second one might be too hard to code.
The last two are maybes.
Allow farmer villagers to sow/harvest the new crops added by the Farming skill
Assuming they are coded as crops this might already be the case?
The food that you can get from Farming could have various uses for other skills, such as Alchemy, Creation or even Faunamancy Engineering could add an item that works like an alarm. You could place the item in your fields, and it would alert you when an entity is walking on your crops. Engineering could also add an item that increases the speed of crops growth. It would also work on saplings and mushrooms.
Won't comment on these because we don't know what those skills will be like yet.
It could also make the horses more likely to have good stats. (Seems difficult to code, idk)
Maybe all mobs bred with it have a potion effect (like spiders spawn with sometimes)
