Issue loading most games #492

Description

Whenever I try to load up a game that isn't a campaign game it always tells me to download the campaign , even if it is a official campaign, It wont even let me download the campaign and instead gives me a blank link however when i turn all add-ons off then, it just seems to work. Reproduction steps

I dont know what caused it but i do know it males most of the game inaccessible. I am on Steam deck If that helps.

Is that an accidental closure or did the issue (official campaigns not working if any single addon is enabled) fix itself?

Steam Deck fixes are always planned, we'd just ideally need a clear video / repro steps for it.

Accidental closure. I'm new to github so I don't really know what I'm doing. I'm on a steam deck oled. And the game runs perfectly fine itself, it's just that I can't seem to load any other game modes. Here's a reddit post that has the exact same problem.

As that Reddit link suggests, it is most likely an issue with two or more of your addons, so it'd help (and be easier to debug) if tested on the PC version. Or pass us a list / Workshop Collection with everything.

Whether it's Steam Deck or PC, do make sure L4D2 is installed to your primary OS drive, as secondary drives are very known for having issues with addons.

Unfortunately I cannot tell which one for sure did it as i have more then a 100 active... on second thought I really should take it easy. I'll go through each and every one separately.
