Mouse input does not work on macOS by default.
This can be fixed by using the launch options -joystick 0, -mouseenable 1, or -mouselook 1. Any one of these launch options fixes the issue.
-joystick 0
-mouseenable 1
-mouselook 1
Older versions of L4D2 worked without having to use these launch options.
