Changes:

verify config and add missing values if necessary (unfortunately this does flip the order of the config file and removes comments)
tidyup: .gitignore
tidyup: remove unused config/exampleconfig.yml options
add debug option in config/exampleconfig.yml that when disabled:
- Disables DEBUG level log messages
- Disables the debug cog
