ISSUE: Anything not in the Allowed list downloads very slowly #157

Describe the issue I have some apps in the allow list - these all work through the VPN fine. But the apps that aren't in allowed download extremely slowly (<1 mbps).

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a tunnel
  2. Add uTorrent to allow
  3. leave disallow blank
  4. enable VPN
  5. run speedtest in browser

Expected behavior speedtest in browser should be normal speed without vpn

Tested on official WireGuard client n/a - apps not routed through vpn are slow

Tested on different VPN servers yes

Screenshots and GIF's image in this example Firefox (top) is allowed. The download was so slow the connection dropped in Edge (bottom)

Tunnel Config Provide a screenshot of your tunnel config with tunnel name, private key, public key, pre-shared key and endpoint removed. image image

Logs FYI I started the tunnel, ran the speed test in Edge, then stopped the tunnel

Tunnel Disabled. Wiresock process stopped

Thanks for filling in the issue template.

@wiresock I cannot see any obvious issues from the TunnlTo side.
