I think that this app looks and functions beautifully, and I would be incredibly happy if the app will be ported to linux

This is likely never to happen.

Tunnelto uses wiresock for it's VPN functionality which is something that does not support Linux. Wiresock is a windows application.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately at this stage there are no plans to a Linux port.
