What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempt any of those tasks.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Could not connect to www.livejournal.com. This post has not been crossposted. 
(-32300 : transport error - HTTP status code was not 200)

What version of the plugin are you using? What version of WordPress?
2.3.2, and WP 3.3.1

Please provide any additional information below.
It's been quite a long time since I have been able to cross post, so I can't 
remember when, but I am being hosted on a virtual private server on dreamhost.  
I has worked in the past, though.

Found the same problem in my WP yesterday, 27 Apr 2012. WP 3.3.2, LJ Cr v. 
2.2.2 
Host service with JustHost:

"Error from www.livejournal.com: -32301 : transport error - HTTP status code 
was not 200 "

Looks as the problem is on LJ end however - 
because the problem started yesterday in both my WP and my Joomla sites (both 
hosted in virtual server on JustHost)

Can you please detalise description of error -32301?
Just to be able to get addressed by LJ guys...

It's been doing this for over a year for me so I'm not sure what's going on at 
this point.

Same problem, also hosting on JustHost, also getting this message:

Could not connect to www.livejournal.com. This post has not been crossposted. 
(-32300 : transport error - could not open socket)
