Thanks, I understand but this would be a quite big project. There is no current plan for a TI-57 emulator. I was owner of a TI-57 too and I have always dreamed about the TI-59, that's why the emulator is there :)
Yes I remember the days when as an owner of the TI57 I would get really frustrated when I get my monthly Science & Vie and find that the programs included only ran on TI58 or 59. It was devastating, hehe!
I have a real TI-57 and also a TI-57 LCD and TI-57 LCD II, but it's getting older and will eventually break. Also, other people don't have them.
I would like a TI-57 mode in this calculator. I think it would be good for education as it is simpler than TI-59/58/58C. There are also more beginner's books about TI-57 than about the other calculators since it was the entry model.
The only difference with the LCD models is that they have less RAM and a system for partitioning the small RAM between steps and registers, but this is not something that is interesting to emulate, and also you already have the GUI for TI-59 which looks similar to TI-57.
TI-57 LCD was my second programmable device (bought 1982) after Sinclair ZX81 (bought 1981), and I used it in school, but the keyboard had problems with bounces. Long after this a bought TI-57 and TI-57 LCD II at internet auctions. It's easier to get hold of TI-57 LCD II and that's another reason why it is important that there is an emulator for it for Android.
