Q:

  1. For description with intent to sell, e.g. https://www.vrbo.com/274808ha?noDates=true&unitId=3058523, if the text also contains user reviews/QA about the product, should OP-oo and IN-fi also be selected?
  2. For pages that gather stock information and also provide opinion on buying/selling/holding the stock, is IN-dtp NA-ne OP-ad appropriate?
  3. For pages that introduce TV series and provide summaries of the plot, is NA and IP-ds appropriate?
  4. A website which helps people to register for trademark first cite the relevant legal term, then describe the process of how to apply for trademarks (through them), then there's a section for FAQ. -> HI-oh, IN-lt (Only one single relevant term is there, do I include this?), IN-fi, IP-ds
  5. A website with description of a mutual fund, with terms and conditions -> IN-lt, and IP-ds or IP-oe?

A1:

  1. I would say yes, they should be selected.
  2. Hmm I don't have any stock information annotated in Finnish data, at least. Does anyone else have?
  3. I have usually selected description of a thing, but if there's lot of narrative text about the plot etc., that's an appropriate selection.

A2:

  1. If the reviews are not selected, so to speak, by the company selling a product/service, then, reviews (OP-rv) can be chosen as one label. What I mean by selected reviews, are the kind of reviews that are positive only and selected by the seller. This is perhaps not always that clear-cut, but usually the selected reviews are also closed, i.e., a customer can't add his/her review on the web page (like on TripAdvisor, for instance). If the text includes Q/A that can also be marked.
  2. As regards pages gathering stock information, the label(s) depend(s) on the contents of the text. If there are characteristics of news (narrative), then NA-ne should be selected, otherwise perhaps IN-dtp if it's informative. OP-ad is probably fine, if it contains advice (subjective) rather than instructions (objective).
  3. I'd perhaps annotate TV series with plot descriptions as IP-ds only, since they are similar to book blurbs and try to persuade people to watch that particular program.
  4. Your annotation sounds fine. If the legal part is very minor, like one term as you mentioned, it is not necessary to annotate that, I'd say.
  5. As you describe the text, it sounds more like IP-oe, but it depends on how straight forward the selling part is.

Q: Documentation of experiences of losing weight, as well as instructions on how to do that (not step by step), including list of food to eat and when to eat, and how to exercise) -> NA-nb & HI-oh?

A: If the advice is from a personal perspective, I'd probably annotate it as OP-av rather than HI-oh. in general, HI-oh is objective, neutral instructions. Otherwise, this annotation looks good to me.

Q: A page to retrieve shopping coupons with instructions on how to use the coupon. Tries to get people into the habit of shopping from a certain shop. -> IP-ds?

A: Perhaps a hybrid IP-ds + HI-oh

Q: Article on a fan page about a recent exhibition by the luxurious brand BVLGARI. The article goes into the details of the exhibition, including the items displayed, the organization of the event, as well as entailed meanings. The article could have been a magazine article, but the style is artistic and not objective -> IP-ed?

A: Could be IP-ed or NA-on + OP-oo.
