Failed to Open a device panel #22

i am trying to open a device panel as per the instructions link below https://developer.tuya.com/en/docs/app-development/devicecontrol?id=Ka8qhzk2htjby#title-3-Open%20a%20device%20panel

but i always get the same error

FATAL EXCEPTION: main Process: com.syrpro_soft, PID: 29700 java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Must call onCreate(application) first

please need your appreciated help
