No notifications. No auto refresh.

Expected behavior

Notification should appear every 15 minutes and the content should auto update.

Actual behavior

The content doesn't auto-refresh. No notifications are appearing in the top tab. No sound. Nothing. I tried changing all notifications to urgent and resetting the app. No effect. Also disabled the battery saver for the app with no result. The sync now in the accounts is greyed out.

Steps to reproduce

Install the app, set up twitter account, wait for the content to autoupdate and notification to appear.

Same here. I'm using the F-Droid Version as well (3.7.6)

Same for me. F-Droid version 4.1.4 on Android 9.0. Also whitelisted the app in the battery saver.

According to this it seems that it's not possible to receive push notifications with a third party Twitter client, is that true?
