Mentions refresh sporadically #1191

Expected behavior

The Mentions timeline refreshes when either Home is refreshed or Mentions is refreshed manually.

Actual behavior

Mentions do not refresh.

Steps to reproduce

Log into app. Set app to refresh Mentions on Home refresh in settings. Refresh Home (no change). Refresh Mentions (no change).

Extra info

Mentions do load from time to time, but it seems to be 10-12 hours later. I cannot specify a specific pattern.

Android version: (version code here) 9 LineageOS 16.0-20190705-nightly-sailfish (pixel) Network type:

After more testing, the lag between the reply and appearing in the mentions timeline after a refresh was as short as 15 minutes, but again, there is no specific pattern.

@bennettscience A workaround is creating a tab that searches for your username, you just won't get push notifications. I'm having the same problem, it worked two days ago for a little while, but now it's just not working.

@GONin3D that's a good idea. I don't have notifications on, so that's fine. I hope the project revives a little...this is by far the best android client. It's too bad Twitter is making it harder to build apps, though.
