@MarvJohnson I cut out the cmd
instructions, and added a tiny bit more context about the used command for both powershell and *nix. Let me know what you think!
Ps. sorry for direct commit, happy to revert if you don't like this direction, just thought we'd be getting silly with PRs on PRs 😂 If it's ok with you, I'll add the walkthrough direct to this PR too!
Added the walkthrough. There's not a whole lot to say about creation here, so I've used the opportunity to explore two topics:
ni
can create directories -> why did we use mkdir
in the last objective?ni
prints them after file creation, so we explore themtouch
creates files almost as a side effect, it's actually a tool for changing modified/access times. This is almost all ancillary info to completion of the objective, but are things about files that users may need to be aware of (particularly permissions). Having written it, I do think it's likely we'll need a file permissions/chmod
objective in this mission somewhere.

That's a-okay! I wasn't sure at the time of writing the initial description what we wanted to focus on, so this is perfect!
Kudos on the walkthrough as well. Gave it a read and learned something new about the touch
and ni
commands ðŸ§
