The thought, that TBM‘s crash is due to the high value for not used slots was not confirmed. It seems more related to AI planes as such. Does not happen if not configuring AI planes in X-Plane. So this compatibility mode is no longer needed.
Current Situation / Problem TBM900 crashes with LiveTraffic's TCAS data. If TCAS is off no crashes of TBM900 occur. Strictly speaking this is a TBM900 problem and their dev's should check their code robustness.
Suggested Solution Likely, this is related to LiveTraffic reporting empty AI slots with high coordinate values in outer space (as 0/0/0 is a totally valid location). In a switchable "compatibility" mode LiveTraffic could just send 0/0/0 instead.
As this would create planes at funny location in map applications like Little NavMap (as said, 0/0/0 is a valid location in the vicinity according to "local GL coordinate system" used in AI dataRefs) it would also be necessary to switch off or reducing slotting itself, so that there are no empty slots.
So this is close to what TCAS was before v1.20.
Benefits TBM900 doesn't crash.
