Remember: Speed Choice issues should be only applied to Speed Choice branch

Why keep this locked to Speed Choice?

Because skipping the fight menu means

You never see that the Pokemon's moves were all replaced with a single Metronome
You can't check Metronome's PP
You don't get the opportunity to change your mind having already pressed Fight
The behavior is unexpectedly different from vanilla

Metronome is still being treated as a real move and not a short-circuiting of the move selection. Changing the behavior hides this. Speed Choice is for people who already understand how the hack works and want to cut down on button presses.
