Costume, PWT, and Ubers, oh my! #32

Back at it again with some new teams! This repo adds 9 Pokemon to the Costume set, most of which are brand-new sets based on Gen 8 Pokemon! There's also a name fix on Totodile's file. PWT was also updated, with 7 new teams! A few Unova and Alola members, the USUM sets for Red & Blue, another set for Fantina based on one of the downloadable tournaments, and the first Gen 8 team in the form of Macro Cosmos's! There's also 1 update to the Team Skull team that it desperately needed, and actually represents the Pokemon that the villainous team has (seriously, Koffing? Since when does Team Skull use Koffing????). The set also adds some minor updates to 3 uber sets in the form of a few new moves gained during the Crown Tundra update. Nothing too huge, and can be changed if deemed unnecessary.

This seems like a good list (although I’m surprised you didn’t do the obvious and make a Falinks costume for Exeggcute or ones for Grookey/Scor). USUM Red and Blue are just using their first battle Pokémon, right? I think a few other movesets could be taken from their later Battle Tree matches.

Both Archie and Maxie use Water Gem/Fire Gem, which wasn’t available in Gen 4. If you want to still add it, you could replace it either with their Mega movesets (just replace their Mega stones with Soul Dew or something) or use related items (Mystic Water and Charcoal, although they could be used repeatedly).

GO moveset is fine, I’m just how you got a full moveset for each Pokémon when GO has two moves at most. If you have a consistent method for doing so, you could probably also do the clan leaders as well.

I'd prolly remove Archie and Maxie then just to wait. Want to make them as accurate as possible, and adding items seems def possible so I'll wait.

GO Rocket leaders have been listed on certain sites with all possible moves they can have for their fast and charged moves. We can use that as base to list their moves in a typical 4-move setup. I'd like to hear back from the moveset team first to sign off on it, though.

Fair enough. I might try that whole Go idea on my end, and although I would’ve just done the item substitution idea I understand your hesitation. One other thing I noticed is that for Giovanni, you have his Kangaskhan listed as male.

To allow for some tooling I want to move all pokeset directories into a "pokesets" tomorrow. Once I did that, this will require you to merge the master branch to get up-to-date, and to manually move any new files to that directory as well. If all your changes are pushed here and you don't have any remaining local changes I can do that for you. I hope that's okay.

From a glance everything looks good--the pushes I've made recently are there along with everything else. I might do a deeper check once I can take a look at the local files I cloned on my laptop, but I don't expect anything huge. Thx for the help!!

For Gladion’s Venusaur, you probably could’ve used Petal Dance until modding allows PB to be possible.

PWT sets need to be accurate to the source material--exceptions are hard to make since often there aren't any moves that can easily replace them. It's not a huge deal for Gladion anyway since he's got plenty of sets.

While I was looking for PWT sets I saw that quite a few Tournament2, X/Y, and Sun/Moon sets which were up for years have discrepancies. Nanu has a Persian with Thick Fat and BlackGlasses to emulate its Alolan form, Lusamine’s Clefable has Moonblast but was replaced with Mist Ball, Norman has a Stantler in his Tournament2 set which was originally a Sawsbuck, etc.

That said, I totally get your focus on accuracy. And as you said before, Gladion does have enough Pokémon already for doubles matches to be possible, let alone singles.
