Prevent bypassing the Route 3 Youngster #18

Glitch City

You are able to save the game while the Youngster attempts to lead you to Brock. This lets you slowly creep by him.

This is probably as simple as making sure Start and Select are also blocked along with the d-pad during the sequence.

That's exactly what Pokemon Yellow does.

Test save: Test Youngster Skip (Reload Map First).zip

Make sure to reload the map first. Attempt to leave Pewter onto Route 3. Use B to skip through the Youngster's text. After "Follow me!", spam Start.

Vanilla: Start menu opens. This glitch is possible. Fixed: Start menu will not open. Rest of the glitch is not possible.
