What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make sure your eID card is removed from your cardreader
2. Launch the eDTool

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The eDTool should show all the information available, but instead, the tool
gives up after failing to detect a eID card

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.5.2 Windows and Mac

Please provide any additional information below.
Other common blocking scenario
 * the siscardplugin is missing

The siscardplugin is only installed when using the Quick Installer.

When installing the eID Middleware via the eID Middleware MSI, then the
siscardplugin
is not installed. Unfortunately the eDTool is too strict here. We will fix this
in
the following release.

Siscardplugin will also be installed using the manual installer starting from
version 3.5.3

The current eDT stops at *nothing* even though it makes no sense to continue.
This was done because the service desk and 2nd line wishes to have all possible
info especially in these cases. (e.g. no reader is found, we still try and read
the card.. it may work using another method and that is very useful
information).
