Can't see cursor #119

I can connect my xbox controller to my surface pro Windows 10 via USB cable and I can see in my device manager that it is detected. I can click with with my A and B buttons, I can toggle speeds and if I am in a menu I can use the directional pad, but I cannot see my mouse cursor. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

I got this when booting and not yet using my regular mediacenter-setup’s touchpad. As soon as I use the touchpad, the cursor appears.

It appears when I attach my keyboard to my surface, but when I remove it goes. I can't have my keyboard attached to the device for how I am using it. My workaround right now is to attach a USB mouse to my surface and tuck it away somewhere , so the controller can be used.
