Nice finding. From the information on their website: "For security reasons, the User Interface Privilege Isolation (UIPI) restricts system interface to LocalSystem. To use JoyXoff under these circumstances, in the Settings window, enable the Run on UAC prompts and sign-in screen option and click Ok. JoyXoff will be restarted for the changes to take effect."
Is there a solution for gopher meanwhile? Or does one need to pick JoyXoff
As you may know once the UAC prompt pops up you're not able to move the cursor by your controller anymore. It has come to my attention that JoyXoff (http://joyxoff.com/en/) is able to move the cursor during UAC and login.
How are they doing it? From what I can see it uses a Windows Service with localsystem privileges. It doesn't seem to install a driver like other programs that achieve the same. Would it be possible to do this for gopher?
