Banner retextures have been reworked by CreeperLava into a standalone edition that doesn't require an ESP and would fit perfectly with Signposts Retextured.

I am currently in the process of following the guide to the end, so I can't accurately test this, but if it is an improvement it should supersede the original entry in the guide.
