examples/styles/amstelvar & decovar-editorials #70

The images of the amstelvar & decovar editorials have been consistently correct examples since they were new, and do not need to be changed.

Their response to a narrower viewport should be to reside in profile as opposed to the landscape alignment in which they now reside.

Since, No editorial work has been done, as far as I can see, Both examples need captions.

Please return to the original material provided, make something good up, recompose the same specimens in typetools and see what's happening, feel free to ask questions, or all of the above.

Thanks.

Hi David, I want to make sure we understand what you're looking for.

The Amstelvar Editorial page currently contains a short caption: Comparing an editorial layout specified using default styles versus selected instances.

Is that the text that needs editorial work? I've attached your original PDF. This contains more information about each image. I know some of this information was to help Chris build it. How much do you want to display to users? Should they see the numbers?

AmstelvarStyles.Example.2.pdf

The Decovar page currently has no caption and we'll definitely need to add something there too.

That Amstelvar Editorial page https://variablefonts.typenetwork.com/examples/styles/amstelvar-editorial Caption is copied by someone else, some time ago, from the caption that was once on the Roboto Example that comes before it.

I'm gladly taking care of writing these now thanks.
