Chinese values in Amstelvar

I'm trying to document the Script example on the brochure, This one,

Can you go into the YTCH and XTCH and confirm the overall measures of the Chinese glyphs top to bottom, left to right, for the mins and max's of the two trans axes?

The sliders say: ytch min 750 default 1000 ytch max 1200

xtch min 750 default 1000 ytch max 1200

But I'm not sure those values are including the descent?

Values should be:

Measured leftmost and rightmost extremes of 我 XTCH max and min xtch min 736 default 911 xtch max 1081

Measured ascenders and descenders of 我 YTCH max and min ytch min 737 default 907 ytch max 1082

The only thing is that the Alpha build has YTCH has different values…

...I mean the axes values change in a new build to what I listed — the font outlines should remain the same...

Hi @chrissam42!

Heres the updated VF with corrected mins and max for Chinese, you can rename it as you need. Let me know which repo is pulling type tools, to update it there too.

It used to be pulling from a side branch of the Amstelvar repo, but now it is pulling from AmstelvarAlpha/fonts. Thanks!
