Closes #100

My main motivation here is to get my feet wet before starting to look more at #68.

Also, I noticed this project is extremely well tested (and all rather well written, I might add!). Let me know if you want tests for this, it's pretty cut and dry so personally I wouldn't, but obviously I will defer to you.
