1 month ago Hey I am so sorry that I have just missed this issue, I do see what you mean and have faced these myself. For the situations of wanting to listen/watch a short again, I have scroll when comments are open toggled off, and it allows you to replay the video when the comments are opened. Also if possible, maybe could toggle the extension off to re-watch it and prevent the autoscrolling.
But for the other issues you point out, like it scrolling to early, I will have a closer look at that, as I could definitely change or add that scroll delay feature. And with the jarring auto scroll, I will try and look at that, because it is meant to 'scroll' and not just play the next short. Thanks again for the issue, and sorry for missing it.
I've ran into this issue a couple of times where the program scrolls a split second before the short truly ends, sometimes missing the very last word or something meaningful at the end of a short. Other times, after some auto-scrolling, I happen to run into a short that I would actually like to listen to again (I don't want to listen to EVERY short multiple times. Just the one from time to time.), but the very instant the short finishes, the program scrolls to the next short before I can pause or restart the short. Finally, there have been times where the instant auto-scroll at the end of a video just feels jarring.
Because of these, I think it would be nice if we could have a Scroll Delay option. Something like "Wait this many seconds/milliseconds after the end of the short before scrolling."
