I didn't find a way to load a js file locally using iframe
, but I noticed as long as there is a valid URL to link the HTML file, we can use iframe
to refer to it.
So for html files, there is one possible approach to achieve it:
if the html file doesn't need to be modified frequently, we can put it into our project, which basically means putting it to our server, so the js file can have a valid URL.
But if it's a js file, then I haven't come up with an idea to do it...
That's not what I meant. If we use iframe, then I can load a complete webpage, and there and Javascript that I've tried works fine.
What I am wondering about is whether it is possible to use Javascript side by side with the html/css in the "pages" of the eMath system. This would make it a easier to create richer and interactive content. The alternative of using webpages via
If the scripts will not be modified frequently, I can add them to our project's index.html
, then the system should have those scripts. But if you want to add scripts manually, maybe we should move this feature to version 2.
Ok. Let's move this to version 2. - Although, I will ask Chris whether he has dealt with this issue in eQuiz, because there it is needed even more.
Question: are we able to use local Javascript? - If "yes", it would be great.
If "no", we could revisit this topic in version 2. After all, we have the following workaround. Put the local Javascript code into a stand-alone webpage, and present it in an
