Book submenu closes instantly #527

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a book menu
2. Tap on a submenu (open book at, file operations, navigation, view, settings)

What is the expected output?
The selected submenu opens

What do you see instead?
The submenu opens and closes instantly

What version of the product are you using?
1.6.6

On what operating system?
android jelly bean 4.1.2

What device are you using?
Samsung galaxy s2

This is Samsung-specific bug. 
We cannot reproduce it on Samsung tablets but have no Samsung phones for 
testing.
