This issue is mostly intended to track whether we would want to rename the repository to match the PyPI package name.
After some discussions, we felt this was needed. There are cases where the repo name does not match the PyPI package name. This also ensures us that the redata namespace for GitHub is still possible.
In addition, the repo names make relay that this is commons code used by ReDATA software and not all redata code.
