no more white figure background in Ch1 #353

Just making an issue here to document that we are planning to remove the white background of the figure in Ch1 (it's the only figure where we do this).

Also need to edit the text before that figure to remove where we mention making the bkg white.

If you close this issue, please open a new one with a V2 enhancement to discuss background colour in the viz section.
