Yes, RFE is necessary to do the analysis. Although there are many factors recorded in the raw data, it doesn't mean that the judges should consider all these factors. They should make the judgement based on the factors written in the UFC official rules. The purpose of this analysis is to find out if the judges make decisions based on the crucial factors according to the UFC rules. So RFE is a good method to find out the important features (with higher weights) for winning the UFC fight. And by comparing the RFE returned features with the factors set by UFC official rules, we can evaluate whether the judges followed UFC rules and make fair decisions.
