M2 (20% of total grade) visualisation: A-
M1 (10% of total grade) RQ: C+
To summarise this decision for your whole group:
You did an excellent job in implementing interactive elements in your dashboard, linking plots and including different types of interactivity, also reflected in the remaining good grades you got. Additionally, all of your in-depth reflection documents are very professional and a grade update is well deserved.
The issue is that your chosen research questions were too simple in order for you to showcase the quality in which you could implement visualisations in depth. I apologise for not pointing this out earlier. To not penalise your ability for interactive plotting and dashboard implementation, we decided to raise your marks for visualisations and adapt your marks for the research questions accordingly, which will result in an overall better grade for all of you. A+ in our grading would indicate that an aspect does not need to be improved on in any way. As already discussed the effectiveness of your plots could be enhanced by either reducing over-plotting in the scatterplot by removing nameless points for other movies, or including interactivity that allows to zoom into the scatterplot and displays the name of other movies.
