task assignment for Jupyter book #37

the jupyter book part is quite a bit of work, I propose two solution

  1. we split the jupyter book part equally amount the group
  2. @ianm99 only focus on the jupyter book part, I handle the scriptification of your function. what do you think? up for better suggestion
