Suggest we assign a person that did not write the function (Daniel) to validate:

[ ] Exception handling
- [ ] Handles incorrect inputs
- [ ] Handles errors during execution via throwing exceptions
- [ ] Error messages are clear and informative
- [ ] Exceptions are covered by tests
