There are a few sections in which either appropriate citations or additional information would be beneficial. For instance, the opening paragraph of section 1 (p. 3, “Why do we need extra motivation …”) offers three reasons for why students may be unmotivated to learn about reproducibility. Are there any appropriate sources that could be cited in addition to the authors’ experiences? Similarly, on p. 4, the authors make reference to Jenny Bryan’s recommendations about handling Git errors – is there a citation that could be used here?
