I have two questions regarding the IncomeIntel data set:
1) I am confused about the gre_qnt values: should we just assume the GRE scales work as if in a dataset (as opposed to being integer values, in increments of 10 or 1)? I know this was briefly mentioned in class but I just want to be sure I appropriately justify my proposed approach
2) I'm looking at the grad_year vs. salary_p4 scatter plot:
I am a bit surprised that this is what the graph looks like—has the salary already been adjusted for inflation? It isn't specified as such in the dataset description and I just wanted to check this was intentional.
