These are the final Subject and Materials fixed lists used to populate the drop downs. All options will be shown in dashboard side, but only items actively associated with databases should show in front end (for example, if there are no databases with the marked as being "Hydrology," it should not show on the front end list).
Subjects are grouped under bucket headings on the "Browse by Subject" section of the Database page. Below is the correct order for these subjects to appear on the Database page. Subjects remain a flat alphabetical list in dropdown (no bucket headings).

Survey and discussion with librarians has resulted in the need to add, remove, and alter some fields in the WordPress form for Databases.
Database Form Metadata Fields
New Fields to Add:
[ ] Subject -- Fixed list (TBD, in process). Informs Subject filter on Database Search.
[ ] Core Database for Subject -- Allows us to push librarian recommended databases to front of results list when a subject in selected in the Subjects dropdown A complication: Databases can cover a multitude of subjects yet be considered core for a certain few. Need an interface that allows for selecting specific subjects as core for a given database.
[ ] Alternate Database Names(s) -- Databases sometimes go by various names. This comma separated text field will help inform search if users use an alternate name as a search term. Not displayed on front end.
[ ] Vendor -- Vendor is displayed inconsistently, this will allow us to control display of vendor on database cards

Other Notes
We want to encourage use of the excerpt field to display short description and allow for long descriptions in main content text field to help inform search. Issue of training/guidance for librarians. Can excerpt field be moved higher up in position on Database form? If so, that would be helpful. It's currently at bottom.
