Investigate possible use of h5serv #9

John pointed to h5serv which is now deprecated and points to HSDS (see #8) - both written by the HDF group.

See if there is anything promising that we could use from h5serv if we are to write our own software e.g. HSDS being too complex or unsuitable for our use case, for instance
