We're unable to distribute pyrate using PyPi, as a pyrate already exists. Are there any suggestions for different names?
At the moment, its possible to install pyrate directly using pip pip install -e git+https://github.com/UCL-ShippingGroup/pyrate.git#egg=pyrate-v0.1, but you need to specify the version or commit of the version you wish to install. If we uploaded releases to PyPi, it would be possible to install pyrate using pip install pyrate.
