Effort to add functionality to the EGGS-Campbell repository to allow for the simulation of hardware in experiments conducted by the Campbell and Hudson labs.
Technically you can add devices straight to the HSS with a fake node and port name. But then you have to communicate directly with the HSS. I wonder if we could allow user to bus servers with different node names other than the name of the actual node the server's running on, where of course all devices would have to be simulated.
